Yes. You can use this service through any mobile phone with GPRS. Furthermore, you can always use this service using a computer or laptop connected to the Internet.
Your SIM is already "Internet/GPRS ready". To find out if you require settings from your network provider please contact us at 111-000-622 (MCB) for guidance.
MCB Mobile is FREE for all MCB customers, for a promotional time period.
The only charge that applies is the Internet/GPRS usage cost which is deducted from your mobile balance as per your usage. These charges may vary based on your connection package and on the network that you use.
Yes. MCB Mobile is a safe and secure way to make payments, because:
- No information is stored on your mobile phone which means that your PIN is never exposed even if your mobile handset is lost or falls in the wrong hands.
- All transactions are secured with Advanced Encryption Methodologies. In addition, to conduct any transaction on your MCB Mobile you need your Mobile PIN along with your ATM PIN.
You do not need to sign any physical form nor do you need to visit your MCB branch to register for MCB Mobile.
To register, simply visit ANY MCB ATM:
- Select "Services Request" option from Main Menu;
- Choose "MCB Mobile Registration" from the menu and enter your mobile phone number;
- Our Call Center will call you for activation.
You will receive the first SMS informing you of a successful registration followed by a call back from our Call Center executive who will authenticate and activate you on the service. You will receive a second SMS with your one-time mobile PIN. You can then start using the service by visiting www.mcbmobile.com. It's that simple!
There is a maximum limit of Rs. 100,000 for all payments up to 10 transactions per day. However, your credit card payments will have a separate limit which is based on your actual outstanding balance.
You would need to visit any MCB ATM, and:
- Select "Services Request" option from the Main Menu;
- Choose "MCB Mobile Registration";
- Select "Mobile PIN Reset Option".
Your new Mobile PIN will be sent to your registered mobile number via a SMS.
At the time of activation of the service, T&Cs will be communicated to you in an email. These are also available on www.mcb.com.pk/mobileterms for your reference. By activating this service, you would have agreed to the same.

Yes you can. There are three ways of using this service outside Pakistan:
- Access MCB Mobile using any Internet/GPRS mobile phone from the country you are visiting; however, you will not receive SMS alerts associated with the service.
- Access the service using your own phone if you are on international roaming. In this case, you will be able to enjoy the full experience of MCB Mobile.
- You can always login to MCB Mobile by visiting www.mcbmobile.com from any computer or laptop connected to the Internet.
This is a fast growing payment channel and is constantly evolving. You can expect new functionalities and payment types being introduced on regular intervals.
